Unsweetened Cashew Milk
1 tablespoon
Apple Cider Vinegar
2 cups
All-purpose Flour
1 3⁄4 cup
Granulated Sugar
3⁄4 cups
Cocoa Powder
2 teaspoons
Baking Powder
1 1⁄2 teaspoon
Baking Soda
1 teaspoon
1⁄2 cup
Coconut Oil (melted)
2⁄3 cups
Unsweetened Applesauce
2 teaspoons
Pure Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon
Almond Extract
1 cup
Boiling Water

Ingredients for Frosting

1 cup
Cocoa Powder
1 1⁄2 cup
Earth Balance Vegan Butter (softened baking sticks preferred)
4 cups
Powdered Sugar (up to an extra cup may be needed)
1⁄4 cup
Brewed Coffee (have another 1/4 cup ready in case needed)
2 tablespoons
Espresso Powder (stirred into brewed coffee)
